When Jesus declared he was "the bread that came down from heaven," the religious leaders objected, saying, "That could not be true. We know his parents and his grandparents." They assumed that if they knew the origins of something it could not have come from heaven. But Jesus did indeed come from heaven, even though he was born of a woman.
