Verse 8 is especially interesting...

Verse 8 is especially interesting in the Greek says Wilkinson, because it says, "Wait for me, saith the Lord, on the day of my resurrection at the Martyrium."
The Martyrium Basilica (Place of Witness) built in Jerusalem by Queen Helena, at Constantine's request, was the name given to the shrine placed over Calvary. To complete the Good Friday/Easter events, a rotunda was built over the tomb of Jesus; the two structures formed the Church of the Resurrection, or Holy Sepulchre, later destroyed, built, and rebuilt to its present structure. The famous mosaic in the church of St. Pudentiana in Rome depicts the structures in this way.
Thus the ancient fourth century name, Martyrium, for the place of the Crucifixion of Christ and a Place of Witness to his resurrection is a place to wait and see the Lord when he comes.
