Those who do evil always attempt to cover it up. Isaiah talks about the earth refusing any longer to hide those who have been slain, and the corpses rising out of the earth to accuse those who were responsible for their deaths. In Argentina during the 1970s and '80s, the government acted as though they all had gone mad. The economy had deteriorated to the point of 1,000 percent inflation! Businesses failed as a result, and there was great unrest, of course.
