They were unveiling a mural of Custer's last stand. The eccentric artist stood before crowds of people peering to get their first look at the wall-sized painting. The Mayor ceremoniously cut the cord holding the veil. All gasped in surprise as they saw the huge picture. It showed a general on a horse. The general was pointing his sword at a cow silhouetted against the sky. The cow was flying, and you could see it had wings and a halo. The flying cow was looking down on a number of native Americans in a cotton field.
