There is something in human nature that seeks to avoid the hour of testing. We look for an easy way out. We make all kinds of excuses. We do everything but face the situation head on.
In the musical "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," there is a song titled "Book Report." In the song the whole cast is involved. They have been given an assignment to write a report of 100 words on the theme of Peter Rabbit. Most of the cast make themselves miserable by trying to avoid the real purpose of the assignment.
