There is something within people that automatically draws them to a spectacular event. In Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost a spectacular event happened in an upper room occupied by disciples of Jesus Christ. Luke describes the event to a friend. He writes that as the disciples met together in one place, without warning as they were praying, a sound came like a tornado that filled the whole house. Then fire fell from heaven and came to rest on each of them. Next they began speaking in different languages.
