There once was a woman...
Illustration
There once was a woman who was consumed by fear. She was afraid to drive at night, afraid that someone might attack her to steal her car or hurt her. She became so obsessed by this fear that soon she no longer went out into her garage, or even her yard, after twilight. It seemed to her just too dangerous, with all she had heard about serial killers and teenage gangs roaming around. Then she began to realize that "those" people were not confined to the hours of darkness. They could be in dark places, really, at any hour.
