There are three results of the inward union with Christ: effectual prayer; fruitfulness in character and service; and joy. Perhaps there are few who are before the public eye who would exhibit this inward union as well as Mother Teresa. The order that she started, the Missionaries of Charity, asks that candidates who join the order have certain qualities: "Candidates who wish to join can be rich or poor and of any nationality.
