In a temple of God...

In a temple of God, like the Holy Temple in Jerusalem, a corner of the building would not be an appropriate place for several idols of the local pagans. In fact, the Jews would not have allowed such a thing. Yet, Paul reminds the Corinthians that their lives are temples of God where he dwells; therefore, too holy for the presence of any idol. Kramer, a famous Lutheran pastor during World War II, was approached by some of his parishioners. The Nazi soldiers were forcing them to go against their faith or be put to death. They asked him what to do. Kramer answered, "I cannot tell you what to do, but remind you who you are."
You are a temple of God.
You are a temple of God.
