Suppose a group of 100 people were given the task of moving a piece of stone weighing thirteen tons one half mile up a vertical cliff. To add to the challenge, the people are not allowed to use any tools save their hands, arms, legs, and backs. Could they do it? Impossible.
But ants could. When confronted with a dead bee or other insect, many times their body size and weight, ants will crawl underneath and attempt to move the potential food source back to the nest. If it is too heavy, the ants will work together, sometimes involving hundreds of ants, to achieve their goal of carrying the bee home.
The mustard seed produces a great tree, tiny ants accomplish seemingly impossible tasks, and ... faith moves mountains.
(An afterthought: ants work together to do great things. Maybe when one Christian adds her mustard seed-sized faith to another's; and together, they add theirs to yet another's and so on; there would be no stopping the church of Jesus Christ!)
