In a special youth service, the evangelist had preached a penetrating, pointed message to the youth of a large congregation.

At the close of his message he gave an invitation to Christian discipleship. He was pleased to see a young girl, nine years old, step out in the aisle and start walking toward the altar. He also noticed an old man coming down the aisle behind her, (whom he thought was her grandfather accompanying her to the altar.)
