Some mysteries seem destined to remain mysteries. Who can explain the massive stone structures that we know as Stonehenge? With construction beginning around 2950 B.C., how did the ancients move those massive limestone rocks over thirty kilometers? What was the thought behind the pattern of the site? How were the stones raised and how were the lintels hoisted to the top? Many hypotheses have been put forward, some more plausible than others. But the fact is, we will never know for certain.
