In the small Kentucky town of Ravenna some years ago, heavy, dark storm clouds gathered and the residents soon heard the train-like roar of a descending tornado which dropped between the mountains to an area which had never hosted this type of storm in its past.

A few minutes later the winds had passed, leaving homes, businesses, and churches devastated. Several people were severely injured, including youngsters who were attending vacation church school in one of the town's many houses of worship.
