As a young child, I thought I knew everything. I thought my parents were woefully out of date. As a teenager, I thought my parents were even more disconnected from the real world, even more out of touch. Somehow, though, as I aged my parents became much smarter. Maybe I realized that I didn’t know everything. Now, in my sixth decade of life, I realize there are things I don’t want to know.
