Sentry duty is not popular...
Illustration
Sentry duty is not popular or pleasant. We don't like to challenge folks about their actions, ideals or direction. And when we do we are likely to be condemned for doing our duty. For example, a sentry at an army camp near an affluent neighborhood was attacked by a resident's dog. To protect himself the sentry stabbed the dog with his bayonet. The disgruntled owner sued the sentry alleging that the soldier had not been badly bitten.
