Safety is a matter for concern for most people and organizations. Safety committees are set up in almost every company to ensure the workplace is not dangerous. New parents are urged to "baby-proof" their home, an ongoing concern as the child begins to move and explore. Safety Patrollers are present at busy intersections ensuring children are able to cross the street safely. As the population ages, safety becomes a concern for increasingly frail seniors.
