Responsibility has been described as...
Responsibility has been described as "our response to God's ability." Young Timothy had many responsibilities as he labored in the church at Ephesus. Paul wrote his friend to encourage him in the labor of the parish ministry, reminding him to put his trust in the eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God. The words in this passage have been used in one of Christendom's most joyous hymns of praise, "Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise." The composer of the hymn was Walter Chalmers Smith, who lived from 1824 until 1908. Smith was not only a famous composer but also a gospel minister.
