A recent study found that men and women navigate differently but do equally well in finding their destinations. Men think mainly in terms of direction and distance. So a man might explain his route to work by saying that he drives a mile, turns left, goes six blocks, and turns right. But women get their sense of direction primarily from landmarks. So a woman would be more likely to give those same directions by saying that she turns left at the doughnut shop and turns right at the gas station. In the church, there is no need to try to impose conformity on people as a way toward unity.
