Quite a few years ago in major league baseball, the American League decided to change the rule to allow for a designated hitter who could bat instead of the pitcher. At first, many people did not like that rule because it changed the game somewhat. But over the years most people have come to accept the fact that even though that is a different way to play baseball, it is still basically the same game. But how many rules can you change before baseball is no longer baseball? If you started to play with five bases, would that still be the same game?
