The people of St. John's Church were in an uproar. They were planning their twenty-fifth anniversary service, and they couldn't decide who should be invited to preach. Most of the charter members thought that Pastor Bill should be asked to preach. After all, he had started the church. If it hadn't been for Pastor Bill, there wouldn't even be a St. John's. He had knocked on every door in town, not once or twice but at least three times. He'd spent seven years just knocking on doors and inviting others to come and see Jesus.
