As a pastor I had heard the story in one form or another many times. Their marriage had seemed strong, but the husband had "strayed." A woman with whom he worked was in an unhappy marriage. He had tried to befriend her and give her counsel. One thing led to another and an extra-marital affair followed. Neither of them intended that to happen.
