In this passage, Paul wrote about "the revelation of the mystery which was kept secret since the world began" (Romans 16:25). "People talk too glibly about God," said Dr. Alan Menton, the Episcopal priest at St. Martin's Church. "We've lost the sense of mystery." Alan was having lunch with an old friend. "Christ talked about life and death and God, yet he never lessened the mystery of these realities. And St. Paul's humility kept alive his sense of mystery. Remember Paul's words: 'At present we are like men looking at puzzling reflections in a mirror.
