In the original Rocky...

In the original Rocky, the main character, Rocky Balboa is, to say the least, not very articulate either in speech or action. He is like a child in many ways. He accepts direction because he cannot find a direction of his own. He is sort of a street hoodlum while at the same time he is like a street urchin. He is constantly fighting with his future brother-in-law, Pauly. They argue about lots of things, but they, especially Rocky, never come to terms with the issues that effect the world they live in, nor do they come to terms with themselves.
