One of the youth at the church said to me, "Knock, knock." To this I replied, "Who's there?" "John," they said. "John who," I replied. With this, this youth poured a small cup of water on my head and said, "John the Baptist." John baptized people in the Jordan River for the forgiveness of sins. He also told of one who was to come, who would baptize people not only with water for the forgiveness of sins, but with the Holy Spirit. In our text for today we find a number of individuals that were baptized into John's baptism, and after meeting Paul, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus and received the Holy Spirit. -- Frank
