One sure way of detecting false religion is that it is concerned with plundering people, enslaving them in a system instead of respecting the dignity and freedom of the human soul. When any religion seeks to manipulate people rather than to minister to them, it is not the religion of the Lord Christ. Nothing so marked his ministry and teaching as his emphasis on the sovereign of human personality. If we believe what he taught, we will know that a human being has worth and value, not because the Constitution of our country says so or because our religious creed says so, but because God made each of us and there will never be another like us.
The marvel of it all is that from the beginning of time, with all the billions of people on earth, there has never been another like you. This is true experimentally as it is physically. From the beg inning of time no human being has had the reservoir of memory that you have. This means that no individual can make the contribution that you can make in the solution of life's problems.
Keeping our roots deep in Christ and building our lives on him, we can know the fullness of our unique creation.
