One summer, a boy named Tommy was playing Little League Baseball. Tommy was on first base when the batter hit a high fly ball down the left field line. Somebody called, "Foul!" and so the batter didn't even try to run to first base. But Tommy, being on first base, just took off running. As Tommy rounded second base, his coach at third base was waving and yelling at him to go back to first base, but Tommy ignored the coach's gestures and rounded third base and came home to score.
