One day the pastor of a large congregation went into his church's sanctuary. He made his way to the front of the sanctuary and then fell down on his knees, began beating on his chest, and cried out, "O God, I'm nobody! I'm nobody!" A few minutes later the associate pastor was going by the sanctuary, and when he saw what the pastor was doing, he decided that he ought to join in. So he knelt down beside the pastor and began to cry out, "O God, I'm nobody! I'm nobody!" A little while later the church custodian entered the sanctuary.
