One day in an English class in public school a young boy was asked: "What kind of pronouns are 'my' and 'mine'?" And he answered, "They are aggressive pronouns." He was not far wrong. How human we can be in our handling of what we claim to be our own! We stake out our patch of property, build a fence around it, maybe with barbed wire, and put up a sign: "Private Property. Keep Off!" And that's that!
