One afternoon, author and sociologist...
One afternoon, author and sociologist Tony Campolo received a phone call from a friend who was meeting with a group of top educators from the former Soviet Union. This group included the rectors of two prestigious universities as well as the Russian Deputy Minister of Education. The friend indicated that these individuals were interested in seeing the things religious groups in the United States were doing in the way of social service. He asked Tony if he would introduce them to some of the agencies he was familiar with. He readily agreed.
