In November 2005, students at Austin High School and young people and congregation members at First Baptist Church in Decatur, Alabama, witnessed some mighty feats of strength when they watched Team Impact perform. Team Impact is a non-profit Christian ministry comprised of nineteen tremendously strong athletes. They use demonstrations of strength to share the message of the gospel in a unique way. Some of their feats are truly amazing: bending steel skillets in half, karate chopping solid concrete blocks in two, tying steel rods into bows, blowing up hot water bottles like balloons until they pop, breaking baseball bats with their bare hands, and more.
Obviously Team Impact was not available for Mary, Mary, and Salome as they went to the tomb that first Easter. But they didn't have to worry; God's power not only rolled the stone away, it raised Jesus from the dead!
