Niagara Falls is a most popular and beautiful spot to visit. Tourists from all over the world stand and marvel at the cascade of water pouring over the American and Canadian falls. Originally, 202,000 cubic feet of water per second tumbled over the falls. That's 5.5 billion gallons per hour! Picture that in terms of milk jugs and it is mind-boggling! And that was every minute, every hour, every day, every year for centuries and centuries and centuries. 12,000 years ago Niagara Falls was located at Lewiston, seven miles down river from its present site. It has taken all that time to erode the Dolomite limestone riverbed and move the falls farther upstream. And it is still moving, sometimes only centimeters per year and sometimes up to six feet per year. The falls isn't finished!
Paul prays that our love "may overflow more and more." Imagine the effect on the world if a torrent of love overflowed from God's people, just like the water cascading over the falls! The world isn't finished and it is still being contoured by love.
