My wife and I were once invited to a party in the home of a
successful businessman. At the party he offered to give us a tour
of his home. As we toured the house, he kept telling us of all he
had done in order to achieve what he had. He spoke of himself as
"a self-made man, who got where he got on his own!"

As we drove home, by wife and I talked. We asked ourselves,
