A motorcycle rider was once traveling along the interstate near Erie, Pennsylvania when his vehicle developed mechanical troubles. He found a repair shop in Erie and was waited on by a man who indicated that he owned and managed the establishment. His dress was definitely entrepreneurial --white shirt, tie, and neatly-pressed pants. He listened to the rider's mechanical complaints and then indicated he thought he could help. Thinking he would next be referred to the shop's mechanic, the rider was flabbergasted when the owner/manager rolled up his white shirt sleeves and set out to work on the motorcycle himself.
Through his Son, God rolled up his sleeves and went to work on the human condition. Unafraid of getting soiled by it all, God's work continues even to the present moment!
