Moses' bronze snake was something...
Illustration
Moses' bronze snake was something like the hair of the dog that bit you. God makes the people look upon the symbol of their punishment to find salvation. This bronze serpent survived the Exodus and was displayed in the Jerusalem Temple. About 600 years after Moses, and 700 years before Christ, King Hezekiah ordered reforms in worship in Israel. In 2 Kings 18 we read how Hezekiah did several things to do away with goddess worship, especially in the Temple in Jerusalem.
