Michelle and Aaron were the only sister and brother who volunteered together at their local convalescent center. Their parents had encouraged them to perform some service to others following their daily school sessions. The director of the center had been thrilled to have them help out. The residents had virtually adopted the pair as they performed a variety of tasks around the place. For Aaron and Michelle, it was like having a whole building full of grandparents. They heard fascinating stories, received lots of hugs and learned a lot about the value of service.
