Mary's beautiful song stresses the mighty acts of God. Knowing that these mighty acts of God are continuing to occur all around us gives us hope during the times when life seems bleak and unrewarding. There was a young man, about seventeen, who loved to play golf. He was really quite good and would rather play golf than anything in the world. The problem was, he didn't have a set of golf clubs. His dad was dead and his mom worked hard to support the family. He worked too, but by the time they bought groceries and paid the rent and kept their old car running, there was no money left over.
