Marty was proud of his new home. He had worked closely with a landscape architect and had already prepared the ground for planting. He had spent hours tilling and raking the lawn area when the heavy rains came. At the conclusion of the thunderstorm, his land looked like a muddy lakebed. Disappointed, but determined, he went to work the next day already rehearsing a cleanup plan in his mind.
