Marian Reams' oldest son, Jack...
Illustration
Marian Reams' oldest son, Jack, had led a troubled life. For years he was an alcoholic and was often in trouble with the law. He seriously injured a fellow drinker as they attempted to settle an argument with fists and bottles. Arrested for driving while intoxicated, he was forced to take a sober look at his life.
Marian prayed for Jack every day. She visited him in the jail, giving him love and comfort along with devotional reading to occupy his time.
