Emphasis Preaching Journal

Many stories are told about fathers who left their families behind and came to our shores to make a new life. There must have been some touching scenes as wives and small children kissed Father "good-bye" and watched him cross the gangplank to sail off to a new land. What would it be like in that new land? Would it be an easier life than the one being left behind? Would the newly-adopted land be as pretty as the homeland? Questions like this could go on forever. But only after Father sent for the family to come would those questions be answered. No one could tell by using the imagination.
