It is one of the oldest con games in the world. Three shells and a pea. Watch the little pea as I put it under a shell and then move the shells back and forth. Move them round and round. Now tell me, which shell is the little pea under? Sorry, you lose. An old game indeed, but not much fun.
In this passage of Scripture God uses three "shalls," but it is no game. God's commands SHALL be on your heart, they SHALL be taught, and they SHALL be talked about in your life. Some might think that this passage says you MAY keep them on your heart, you MAY teach them, and you MAY talk about them, but those people lose.
