Can you imagine what it would be like to drive a car looking only into the rear-view mirror? I know some who drive fast that seem to do this, but if we were really restricted to this one view of where we had been, we would all soon be in trouble.
But a lot of Christians try to live their lives looking in the rear-view mirror. These people are continually looking to past experiences, past learnings, and past securities for their faith.
