Let us imagine a court scene. The prosecution has presented its evidence, the defense has been magnificent; and the jury has met only to return to the courtroom quite soon with a verdict. The judge asks for the report of the jury, and the foreman presents it. It is just one word "Acquitted." What a relief for the defendant!
