With a little imagination, one can hear the healed man humming his way into the crowd of the high and the mighty. Humming what? Perhaps Marty Haugen's hymn, "Healer Of Our Every Ill," the chorus of which reads, "Healer of our ev'ry ill, light of each tomorrow, give us peace beyond our fear, and hope beyond our sorrow." The healer is Jesus to whom Peter gives proud witness.
