A little boy named Johnny was always fighting with the little girl who lived next door. She bothered Johnny because she saw his acts of vandalism and always told on him. Johnny became so angry with her for "squealing" that he decided he'd punish her. This little girl had a doll that was her dearest possession. When the opportunity came, Johnny looked around, saw no one, picked up the doll, and buried it in a shallow hole in his backyard. When he was accused of the theft of the doll, he insisted that he was innocent.
