Katrina knew he would be...
Illustration
Katrina knew he would be waiting. He was always there, watching from the window, no matter what time she got home. She wondered if she was that predictable or if he did nothing but sit in the window, hour after hour, waiting, watching ... She was glad she had decided to rearrange the furniture so that the end table was under the window. That made it easier for Roy to see. He wasn't a large cat, but the table offered more space than the narrow window ledge he had watched from after they first moved into this house. Katrina found a great deal of comfort in Roy's faithfulness.
