Kathy was a well-balanced 10-year-old girl. She listened to her parents and for the most part was usually the one who stayed away from any trouble. She loved to visit her grandmother who lived only a block from her home. There was a rule in her grandmother's house that no one played or entered in the "inner parlor." It was kind of like the "holy of holies." It was filled with priceless antiques worth great sums of money. One day Kathy forgot this rule, well, not really forgot it but her curiosity got the best of her.
