Jimmy Carter was not reelected to a second term as president of the U.S.A. The American people did not accept his presidential leadership, and they chose a very different leader for the next four years. His presidency ended after four years, but his service has continued. In 1976, he founded Habitat for Humanity, an organization that mobilizes volunteers to donate their resources and time to build homes for the poor.
