It is only a pale...
Illustration
It is only a pale comparison of the great love of God for his only begotten Son, but the affection expressed toward the father of Louis Antoine Jullien gives us a hint of its depth. Jullien, who lived during the first half of the 1800s, was a French composer and conductor. When he was born, his father, a violinist, had been invited to play a concerto with the Philharmonic Society Orchestra in the city of Sisteron. He thought it only proper that he should ask one of the musicians to be the child's godfather.
