I recall a man in a student church, where I pastored many years ago, being critical of faith healers. He made the comment that he would believe in their professed powers if they would go to the cemetery and raise a body from the dead. He remarked that if one of them would raise the first person from the dead, he would raise the next. There was absolutely no doubt in the minds of the early believers that Simon Peter's presence could make a definite difference, even where the death of a beloved sister in the Lord had occurred.
