I love to go to the circus when it is in town. The best part of the circus is seeing the aerial acrobats swinging on the trapeze bar high above the center ring and the crowd seated below. The suspense of it all, especially when the performers make that momentous swing and then let go of the bar. For one breathless moment, they are literally suspended in mid-air till they take hold of the arms of the waiting catcher who dangles from the other bar. Just think of it ... millions of people come to view that one split-second moment as the acrobat hangs in mid-air.
